Jeju is known for its natural beauty and the only place to hold both UNESCO designations (World Natural Heritage, Biosphere Reserve, Geopark) and the title of New7wonders of Nature. Besides, Jeju has optimum MICE infrastructure.

ICC Jeju is a specialized resort-style convention centre with varied conference facilities and meeting rooms, with a very special focus on sustainability. The venue has lots of experiences holding remarkable international events. Across Jeju island, there are 3,000 five-star hotel rooms with world-class service and a total of 30,000 beds.

When it comes to business events, access to a specific destination must be quick, easy and efficient. Jeju currently has 50 regular and irregular international flights connecting it to East Asia and an increasing number of ‘direct transfer routes’ through transit hubs. Also, visitors can enter Jeju without visa up to 30 days from 180 countries including China.

In addition to superior facilities and services, ‘Resort MICE’ is what makes Jeju different. Where else can you go for a swim in pristine turquoise seas in the morning, then relax in the afternoon in a woodland resort on the slopes of the fabled Mt, Halla? And, if your delegates enjoy leisure sports, they can do golf, horseback riding, scuba diving and paragliding in this uniquely beautiful island.

Happy 10th birthday to Jeju CVB!

Jeju Convention and Visitor’s Bureau (JCVB) is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. Over the past decade, the Bureau has helped build the lovely island Jeju into a top-class business meetings destination, while offering planners excellent support programs, one-stop information service and marketing activities, among many other things. As a result of their passionate efforts, Jeju holds over 200 international and domestic events every year. Besides, the destination has ranked 19th in world and 7th in Asia according to the 2013 UIA statistics.

JCVB is now launching the ‘Jeju MICE Card’. This card is designed for MICE visitors during their stay on the island. This easy-to-use card will help visitors to use public transportation and make them enjoy discounted price whenever they visit associated stores such as restaurants or tourism sites. JCVB expects that the Jeju MICE Card will both provide delegates with convenient services, and strengthen the local tourism industry and island’s overall economy.

Jeju has grown enormously in the last few years and so has Jeju CVB. The bureau has spearheaded improvements in infrastructure and facilities. The result is that this charming island can now compete internationally as a world premier MICE destination.
