International Conference Services Appoints Jennifer Abbott to Chief Executive Officer

International Conference Services Ltd. (ICS), a Professional Congress Organizer headquartered in Vancouver, BC, Canada, is pleased to announce that it has appointed Jennifer Abbott to the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO), with immediate effect.

Jenn joined ICS at the end of 2011 as Director of Business Development and was promoted to Vice President in 2013, before becoming an ownership Partner in 2015.

She has been a critical member of the management team since she joined ICS and has been instrumental in the development of ICS from a company with 20 employees in 2011 to now more than 60 employees worldwide with five international branch offices alongside the Vancouver headquarters. This appointment recognizes her increasing leadership role, and the Board’s full confidence in her ability to continue the growth of the company".

The ICS Executive Team now consists of President, Mathias Posch, whose focus will shift to planning and overseeing the company’s global strategy and development as well as the international representation of ICS in the industry as the President Elect of the International Association for Professional Congress Organizers (IAPCO); Chief Operating Officer Grit Schoenherr, Chief Financial Officer Aksinia Shier and Chief Technology Officer Andrew Dergousoff.
