ICCA Discusses Aviation Industry Recovery with Leading Global Airline Alliances

As part of its “ICCA Global Conversations” series, ICCA is organising an open online session with its airline members to discuss the most important issues for reopening the global meetings industry, titled: “ICCA Global Conversations: Future of Aviation and Air Travel - Safety and Customer Confidence”. The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on the aviation industry due to travel restrictions and the lack of demand among travellers.

For the past few weeks, we have seen airlines go through different phases of impacts due to COVID-19: from planes flying empty, to not flying at all and now during the next few weeks flights are slowly returning. But what will the future look like for airlines? How will this affect travellers and how will this impact the meetings industry, which has been intertwined with the aviation industry for many years?
