The events business at Europe’s leading venue will be in full swing over the next few months. There is a distinct trend towards participants devising and shaping content and event processes themselves – which is helping to enhance the exchange of expertise. Visitors of an event are able to listen to the different sessions and move around at Hofburg building at the same time. Lectures are held simultaneously in different halls of HOFBURG Vienna and are transferred to the mobile devices of the participants via Hofburg network and WiFi.

The Hofburg Vienna holds 17.000 m² of space in 35 rooms for events ranging from 50 to 4.900 persons. The heart of the property is embodied by the imperial staterooms which are equipped with ultramodern event technology. Altogether, the entire Hofburg complex (the former winter residence of the Habsburgs) contains a total area of 500.000 m² on 18 wings with 54 staircases, 19 courtyards and 2.600 different rooms.

Another objective is to generate a variety of responses on social media channels by means of face-to-face meetings and delegate networking before, during and after an event. It also represents a significant shift away from established standard concepts, and poses a challenge for event organisers, since the outcomes are open-ended. Our job is to work closely with our customers to help reinvent event formats and bring new ideas to life on an emotional level.
