With the IMEX Frankfurt having been cancelled for a second year in a row, the Frankfurt Convention Bureau (FCB) and its exhibition partners are now inviting guests to visit the metropolis on the River Main virtually instead. This year, the brand- new “Frankfurt MICE Days” will be taking place from 08th to 10th June as part of the GCB campaign, “At the Heart of Future Events”.

With a diversified programme specifically aimed at both German-speaking and overseas event planners, the FCB will be using the digital event to focus on various industry trends while at the same time promoting the destination of FrankfurtRhineMain to an international audience. On the first two days of the event, participants will have a total of seven sessions to choose from, all held in German language. These will include, amongst others, a Frankfurt rally, an apple wine tasting session and workshops on the subjects of digital networking and the legal challenges of digital and hybrid events. Then, in a special live podcast, Olaf Schmidt, Vice President of Textiles & Textile Technologies at Messe Frankfurt, will be providing interesting insights into the upcoming Frankfurt Fashion Week. The third and final day of the Frankfurt MICE Days will be directed at international audiences. Aside from dealing with “Incentives with a Purpose”, the FCB will also be focussing on “Business Events of the Future“ and welcoming the input of industry experts like Carina Bauer (IMEX) and Matthias Schultze (GCB).

“As it is at this time still difficult for many event planners to come to Frankfurt in person, we are all the more pleased to be able to present to them the many offers and advantages of our fine city by way of the new “Frankfurt MICE Days”, says Jutta Heinrich, director of the Frankfurt Convention Bureau. “Our event programme is highly diversified and promises a great deal of pertinent information as well as its fair share of laughs.”

Local partners participating in the FCB’s online event include Alte Oper Frankfurt, cornerstone meetings, Frankfurt Marriott Hotel, Lufthansa Seeheim, Messe Frankfurt, Scandic Frankfurt Museumsufer and Destination FrankfurtRhineMain.

The ten online sessions will be broadcast live from the Virtual Venue of the German Convention Bureau.
