The Meetings Show is the premier event for the UK inbound and outbound meetings industry, and is taking place on 14-16 June, 2016 at Olympia London.

1. Feed your mind: Over 80 specifically designed education sessions will run over the three days with sessions targeted at both agency and corporate meeting organisers and covering topics including healthcare, association, technology and best practise; all delivered by leading industry experts.Paul Bridle will be presenting a session in the Leadership and Management stream looking at ‘Strategic Leadership – New Rules Mean New Thinking’ and Katherine Dashper will be discussing ‘Women in Leadership.’

The Healthcare stream will include many different sessions tackling issues and trends specifically aligned to the healthcare sector. For example, Caroline MacKenzie will lead a lively debate to discuss ‘The Implication of Healthcare Corporate Compliance on Medical Association Congress’, and Andrew Winterburn will be presenting a session on ‘The Changing Face of Medical Education Meetings in a Multichannel Environment’ and asking what will the future look like?

Technology is always a popular topic and the dedicated stream will feature sessions including ‘Technology Toolbox – selecting the Right Tool for your Meeting’ presented by Maarten Vanneste and Jelmer van Ast and ‘Technology for Presentation Improvement’ presented by Mike Piddock.

2. Meet the widest selection of exhibitors at a UK show: Over 600 exhibitors from over 55 international destinations will be there to give an unrivalled selection of companies to conduct business with. The show includes many new names for 2016 such as Hyatt Hotels, hotel republic, Millennium & Copthorne Hotels, Sheffield Convention Bureau, Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau, Dubrovnik Tourist Board, Eventbrite and Searcys, alongside returning companies such as London & Partners, VisitScotland, Tourism Ireland, Macdonald Hotels & Resorts and Dubai Business Events.

Being hosted offers an incredibly productive way to visit the show - it saves time because buyers can arrange their meetings in advance using the show’s hosted buyer online diary. It also removes all the hassle of booking travel and accommodation, allowing buyers to focus on what is most important: business, knowledge growth and relationship building.

4. Grow your network: Buyers can gain exclusive access to networking opportunities at some of London's most iconic venues. The Hosted Buyer Welcome Reception this year is being held at KidZania London on the evening of Monday 13 July. The fun and unique venue will engage and excite and is likely to be very different to anything seen before! Meeting Professionals International Foundation and The Meetings Show have teamed up to bring the Foundation’s signature networking and fundraising event, Rendezvous, to London for the first time, providing buyers with an opportunity to network and dance the night away in one of the city’s leading nightclubs. Rendezvous takes place on Tuesday June 14 at Under the Bridge, Chelsea.
