Registration for the forthcoming 2018 AIPC (International Association of Convention Centres) Annual Conference, to be hosted at ExCeL London from 1-4 July 2018, is now open.
This exclusive, member only event brings together senior level professionals from the world’s leading international convention centres for educational, networking and strategic planning purposes. This year’s programme is themed ‘Strategies for a Changing World’ and includes four keynote speakers covering topics from the impacts of major policy and political shifts to the war for talent.
The conference provides an opportunity for delegates to experience first-hand, ExCeL’s approach to hosting world leading events. The conference will showcase the venue’s latest innovations in convention centre management, from a fresh approach to catering to continued investment in the guest experience, including ExCeL’s onsite Elizabeth line station, opening in December 2018.
Those attending the conference will also experience the very best of what London has to offer, seeing how the capital welcomes world class events, such as Hewlett Packard Enterprise, the ESC (European Society of Cardiology) Congress and Adobe Summit.
ExCeL London acting CEO, Jeremy Rees, commented: “We are delighted to welcome our fellow convention centre colleagues to ExCeL London this summer. As a venue, we are committed to sharing insight with colleagues, from all over the world, to set the very highest standards for our industry. The Mayor of London’s office recognises the value that convention centres play as a driving force for commerce and an integral part of a global meetings industry worth £1 trillion. The whole city looks forward to welcoming everyone to ExCeL where we will be showcasing our unique approach to delivering great event outcomes.”
AIPC President, Aloysius Arlando commented: “Holding this year's event at ExCeL London, showcases the high quality of facility AIPC membership represents and will be a particularly exciting and relevant destination for the kinds of industry and overall economic issues we will be addressing during our conference.”
