Calabar ICC debuts in oil sector events with Nigerian Content Workshop (NCW 2016)

Calabar International Convention Centre has made a debut in holding Oil and Gas Sector Conferences with the Nigerian Content Workshop, NCW, 2016 - a Three-day Stakeholders Interactive Workshop on Nigerian Content Policy: Rationale, Challenges and the Way Forward. This complements previous impressive bids the ICC has to secured in other key sector critical to Nigeria's economy like Agriculture, ICT and Health Conferences.

The event is under the auspices of Senate Committee on Petroleum Resources (Upstream), Ministry of Petroleum Resources, Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF), Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) and Messrs New Planet Projects Ltd. (NPP).

Calabar ICCThe workshop is expected to be declared open by the Special Guest of Honour, His Excellency, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, (GCFR), Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Keynote Address will be delivered by His Excellency, Sen. Bukola Saraki, Senate President, Federal Republic of Nigeria and the Executive Governor of Cross River State, Prof. Ben Ayade will be Chief Host.

The only meeting of its kind in Nigeria, “Nigerian Content Workshop NCW 2016” has been built around a framework of impassioned discussions amongst domestic and international leaders from all key stakeholders, industry regulators, policy makers, research bodies and investors.
