Zurich is more than just a global financial centre. Swiss tradition and the creative lifestyle also have their appeal.

Consulting company Mercer again ranked Zurich, the metropolis, located right at Lake Zurich, second in the world in terms of quality of life in 2015. The central location in the heart of Europe, security and cosmopolitan flair of this compact city in Alpine surroundings make it a highly desirable location for international companies.

Zurich Airport offers direct flights to 170 destinations and is only 10 min from the inner city. Planners from Europe particularly appreciate the excellent rail links.

A Mediterranean flair has found its way into Swiss hearts and produces a new life style which is noticeable throughout the city! The numerous bars along the lake and the river, the new and hip district Zurich West and the many galleries and night clubs are all a witness to this quite recent development.

The appeal of Zurich lies in the mix of long-established tradition and a chic urban lifestyle, which is reflected in the diverse range of venues available. For fans of local hospitality, guildhouses in the city centre are the ideal option.

The AURA is a spectacular venue located in the inner city which hosts an impressive 360° screen surrounding the perimeter of the location!

Kameha Grand Hotel, opened in March 2015, a unique lifestyle hotel with 245 rooms, an event hall for up to 550 guests and an extensive congress area (7 meeting rooms) is an ideal increase in capacity for Zurich as Convention City. Kameha offers the perfect setting for creative brainstorming, impressive presentations and custom-made events.

The new Hotel Atlantis by Giardino, billed as an “urban retreat in the heart of Europe”, is also aiming to exploit the feelgood factor when it opens in summer 2015. Located at the foot of the green Üetliberg, Zurich’s local mountain, this 95-room five-star hotel has the air of an oasis close to the city, where guests can recharge in the dipiù spa.

The Circle will be a destination in itself at Zurich Airport and the largest conference hotel in Switzerland. The Convention Center will form a conference area with space for about 2’300 people – the capacity in the largest hall reaches 1’500 people. Hyatt Regency and Hyatt Place complete the offer with 550 rooms. Opening is planned in 2018.
