From December 16th 2015, Air Europa Airlines will start operating direct flights between Paraguay and Europe; the nonstop route Paraguay-Spain will be back after 21 years.

According to the data provided by Air Europa’s General Manager for Bolivia and Paraguay, Olavi Linkola, the first flight will take off from Madrid on December 16th at 23:45 and arrive in Asuncion at 7:55. The first flight from Asuncion will take off on December 17th at 14:00 and will reach Madrid at 5:15. The aircraft, Airbus 330-200, will have capacity for up to 285 passengers.

This route will connect the Adolfo Suarez Madrid-Barajas Airport to the entire network of Air Europa destinations. This means that any passenger leaving Asuncion at 14:00 will reach any European capital close to Spain no later than 10:00 am the following day.

Air Europa belongs to Globalia, one of the most consolidated business groups in Spain, with over 25 years of experience, flying to over 45 destinations in Europe, America and Africa, with more than 9 million passengers a year.
