For the second post of my new blog, I felt like sharing with our readers one of my passions, flowers.

Last weekend, I went to do my shopping in Keukenhof in the Netherlands and came home with a few hundred historic tulip bulbs that I now plant in my garden. In 2019, in spring I will probably have the most beautiful tulips of Antwerp.

Why am I writing this?

Those attending congresses in The Hague or in Noordwijk (two important congress cities in the area of Keukenhof) should definitely spend a day visiting Keukenhof. It is the most beautiful spring flower park in the world.

Every year around 7 million tulips, daffodils and hyacinths are planted around this time. In 2019, the 70th edition will take place and Keukenhof will become a global concept more than ever.
You will not be alone because Keukenhof attracts about 1.3 million visitors every year. For a conference organiser it is very interesting to look at this website: keukenhof.nl

Under the Events section, you will find some interesting ideas for organising social events surrounded by flowers.

I hope to fly over the bulb fields next year with a plane, that sounds like a dream in my ears.
